how can i control boners?
well…my girlfriend wants to go to a nudist "camp" whatever place with me… i don’t really know anything about them, but i have ot assume that there are some naked people there. i get aroused pretty easily, and it would be absolutely pretty dang fricken bad if i got a boner. pretty much just being naked gives me a boner lol. yea thats bad ik. what ever. don’t say don’t look at them don’t go out side or whatever. is there some random OTC drug that will stop it? Anti-viagra lol. Asprin maybe? would that work?
oh lol. it’d be bad if i got a boner from someone other than my gf. and well…lets just say im not going out with her for the looks
Don’t worry about it so much. Presently you get aroused just thinking about it because society has pounded into your head that nudity equals sex. Go and relax. You probably will get aroused at first because of the association, but after awhile, you will see that there’s nothing really sexual about it. If you opt to disrobe, that will actually hasten the transition for you. My first time, I was mortified that I would be stuck with an erection all weekend. But, once my wife and I stripped down and went out in front of our campsite and sat down to drink a beer, it only took about 10 minutes, and an "erection" was a dead issue from that point on.
You should bring a couple good size towels for each of you. You must always have a towel to put on where ever your sitting. If your having problems with an erection, just cover it up until it subsides. Going for a swim is also a good way to calm the situation.
FYI…. There are some places that it IS about sex. Those are usually refereed to as "lifestyle" resorts, which is code speak for swinger resort. They will usually not allow children or single males. If that is what you wish to avoid, make sure the place you go is touted as a "family" resort. Most family resorts are listed with the AANR. Nonsexual nudism follows the FKK mentality.

What do the men think about this?
With all the unwanted pregnancies, men’s complaints about unfair reproductive rights, child support and custody battles, do we really need special products to enhance male sexual performance? I’m not talking about a prescription for Viagra to a patient with ED, I am talking about the OTC products advertised on radio and late-night TV for products that will enhance a man’s sexual experience. Isn’t it irresponsible to market these products without a disclosure statement promoting safe-sex practices?
Or can we women just take our unwanted babies to the manufacturers of these products and expect them to foot the bill?
Note: I know that women can use birth control too, and they should… but for the purpose of this discussion, please keep the focus on either corporate or male responsibility. Thanks in advance.
Levity, yes, I know…but you gotta have a moral dilemma to get hits on a question!
OK guys, the product is for pleasure, but the consequences of that pleasure CAN BE pregnancy.
Do we assume that people think before they act? Or do you think the company has a social responsibility to inform consumers of the risk of pregnancy as a result of use of its product?
Astaroth – If you think about in the context of your “responsibilities of sleeping around” question (which was part of the inspiration for this Q, I might add)… it certainly CAN increase the chances of pregnancy.
More partners = greater chance of someone ending up pregnant.
Guys just like to know that they can still take on the entire feminine population should that occasion arise pun intended. Most men are pretty responsible when it comes to being cautious at least the ones that I know. I can see your point though, encouraging men to spread their wild oats is not conducive to good birth control methods.
What makes some drugs ‘good’ and some drugs bad’?
In society, we have open hands towards perscription and OTC drugs, but illegal drugs are seen as just plain evil. But dont ALL drugs have the potential to do good and bad? How can you determine whats exceptable and what is not? EX. Viagra is widely accepted, but im sure a drug that directly enduces an orgasm would be seen as evil. Oxycodone is a widely available perscription narcotic, eventhough it has a greater liklihood to be abused than marijuana. Wouldnt it be better to put illegal drugs in the hands of pharmaceuticals so they can determine for themselves whether a drug would be of benefit to a patient? Since, drugs like LSD and marijuana have proven medical(or in LSD’s case pshycological) potential benefit.
yes all drugs have the potential to good or bad, thats why we are not supposed to medicate ourselves. it should be left to the medical professionals who have experience with this and any side effects can be monitored and any other drug interactionos can be monitored.
Are there any OTC sexual type medication?
Like Viagra?
There is no simple pill or potion to increase sex drive in women. In fact, most women benefit from a multifaceted treatment approach aimed at the many causes behind this condition. This may include sex education, counseling, lifestyle changes and sometimes medication.
Lifestyle changes you can make
Healthy lifestyle changes can make a big difference in your desire for sex:
Exercise. Regular aerobic exercise and strength training can increase your stamina, improve your body image, elevate your mood and enhance your libido.
Stress less. Finding a better way to cope with work stress, financial stress and daily hassles can enhance your sex drive.
Be happier. A sense of personal well-being and happiness are important to sexual interest. So find ways to bring a little extra joy to your world.
Strengthen your pelvic muscles. Pelvic floor exercises (Kegel exercises) can improve your awareness of the muscles involved in pleasurable sexual sensations and increase your libido. To perform these exercises, tighten your pelvic muscles as if you’re stopping a stream of urine. Hold for a count of five, relax and repeat. Do these exercises several times a day.
Relationship changes you and your partner can make
For women, better emotional intimacy often leads to better sexual intimacy:
Communicate with your partner. Conflicts and disagreements are a natural part of any relationship. Couples who learn to fight fair and communicate in an open, honest way usually maintain a stronger emotional connection, which can lead to better sex. Communicating about sex also is important. Talking about your likes and dislikes can set the stage for greater sexual intimacy.
Seek counseling. Talking with a sex therapist or counselor skilled in addressing sexual concerns can help with low sex drive. Therapy often includes education about sexual response and techniques and recommendations for reading materials or couples’ exercises.
Set aside time for intimacy. Scheduling sex into your calendar may seem contrived and boring. But making intimacy a priority can help put your sex drive back on track.
Add a little spice to your sex life. Try a different sexual position, a different time of day or a different location for sex. If you and your partner are open to experimentation, sex toys and fantasy can help rekindle your sexual sizzle.
Medical treatments for low sex drive
Medications aren’t always necessary to treat low sex drive. But they can help.
Treating underlying causes of low sex drive. The first medical intervention for low sex drive is usually addressing an underlying medical condition or medication that’s known to have sexual side effects. This may include adjusting or changing your current medications or starting treatment for previously undetected conditions.
Estrogen therapy. Systemic estrogen therapy — by pill, patch or gel — can have a positive effect on brain function and mood factors that affect sexual response. Local estrogen therapy — in the form of a vaginal cream or a slow-releasing suppository or ring that you place in your vagina — can increase blood flow to the vagina and help improve desire. In some cases, your doctor may prescribe a combination of estrogen and progesterone.
Testosterone therapy. Male hormones, such as testosterone, play an important role in female sexual function, even though testosterone occurs in much lower amounts in women. However, replacing testosterone in women is controversial and it’s not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for sexual dysfunction in women. Plus, it can cause negative side effects, including acne, excess body hair (hirsutism), and mood or personality changes. Testosterone seems most effective for women with low testosterone levels as a result of surgery to remove the ovaries (oophorectomy). If you choose to use this therapy, your doctor will closely monitor your symptoms and blood levels to make sure you’re not experiencing negative side effects.
otc penis erection pill?
are there any otc penis erection pills like viagra?
There is a v. good erection pill better, safer than Viagra- it’s NO2 (Nitric Oxide; The Nitrous Oxide (N2O) is the "laughing gas").
The only thing is to follow the instructions carefully. There shouldn’t be any adverse side effects, but the payoff- :>D.
Go ahead and try it.
You can get the NO2 @ health food stores like Akin’s, Wild Oates.
All the best to you.
Anyone know of a Sexual Stimulant for Women? Like Viagra for women or something?
I’ve read a lot of blogs about losing sex drive and all of that. I’ve been to the doc, put on wellbutrin and that hasn’t really worked for me. I’ve been on birth control pills for a long time but really how much has it been proven that there is a direct correlation between the two? I’m looking for a otc drug or something that just increases women’s lebido, is there something like that out there?
Yes. It called a caring, unselfish man.

Hypertension along with ED? Any OTC remedy?
a week or so ago i started noticing some problems getting up, im 18 and never had this problem, a few days ago i found out i have stage 1 hypertension, after some internet research aparently their is a link between the two and i’m willing to bet thats what the problem is, i dont smoke, not stressed ect. I know i need to go to the doctor and will, but i’m seeing a friend tomorrow night i havent seen in awhile cuz im on vacation 500 miles away from home, and could really use an otc viagra or herbal pill that isnt a scam to hold me over till i make the appointment lol any suggestions?
ty babe for your idiotic answer, i already stated i am fully aware of the need of a doctors appointment in this case, and already stated i do no have stress problems, and prescription ed pill would likely worsen blood pressure problems yes, but an otc pill is unlikely to do so, i eat healty, get enough sleep, and excersize a good bit
Maybe you need to stop self-diagnosing and treating and get in to see your doctor.
ED is not normal for an 18 year old.
Neither ins high blood pressure.
And anything you take that could ‘resolve’ the ED problem would exacerbate the high blood pressure.
Just relax, reduce your stress level, and stop trying to perform with super-human feats of manhood! Stay off anything alcoholic. Get plenty of sleep and eat healthy.
